Why AOII?

"Last summer I ran my first half marathon. Unsurprisingly, running 13.1 miles was a lot harder than I thought it would be and there were only two things that pushed me to keep running while my legs began to ache. The first thing was the chocolate milk at the finish line and the second was my sisters. Many girls in the chapter knew what I was attempting to do and supported me from all across the country. Throughout my race, I received texts from sisters encouraging me to keep going and achieve my goal. During that race I made an amazing realization: these women truly are there for me and will push me to Exceed the Expectation in everything that I do. No matter how far apart we are from each other and no matter the circumstances, I will always have my sisters supporting me. And that's why I'm an AOII."
