Jenn O'Hagan is an upcoming senior majoring in Integrated Strategic Communication. Originally from Westchester, Ill., Jenn traveled to UK for college, and felt homesick her freshman year.
"I really considered transferring back home after freshman year. I decided to try out recruitment sophomore year since I had really regretted not trying it the first time. Throughout my first year as a member of AOII I could feel myself becoming more and more connected with the chapter and feeling so much better than I had freshman year. This year, living in the house has really made my experience even better because I’ve been able to feel very at home in AOII and connect with so many more sisters. As cliché as it is, I’ve truly found my home away from home and I feel like my sisters have helped me to become a much better person than I was two years ago," Jenn said.
Jenn holds the position of Activities Chair, and has a goal of getting AOII more involved with other chapters' philanthropy events on campus. "We’re a chapter that has a lot to offer and I think the more involved we get the more others can see that," Jenn said about AOII.
Since Jenn started as Activities Chair, sisters of AOII have participated in many events on campus, and grown closer doing so. We love to see our sisters exceeding expectations, placing 2nd in Alpha Phifa and being back-to-back Kappa Bowl champs!
