Emma is an upcoming sophomore studying bio-chemistry, pre-pharmacy. Originally from Hebron, Ky., Emma is serving as the 2015-2016 Secretary for the chapter.
"When going through recruitment, AOII seemed like the only chapter with genuine and unique girls who loved each other. That was what I was looking for in a sorority... After recruitment, that welcome feeling only continued to grow," said Emma.
During her time freshman year as an AOII, Emma feels as though this sisterhood has helped her break out of her shell and really embrace who she is. "Whether it's dancing in front of people or just striking up a conversation with someone I don't know, I feel confident now doing those things because of AOII and my sisters."
In her position as secretary, Emma hopes to do all that she can to improve the chapter. Whether that is helping with a philanthropy event or assisting a committee, Emma is ready and willing to do whatever it takes!
