Advice to COB Women: Laura Millen

When I came to UK I never really considered joining a sorority because I didn’t want to go through formal recruitment. One of my best friends joined AOII through formal recruitment and she was the one who encouraged me to join through COB. I loved COB because it was such an informal process and I didn’t feel like I had to try too hard. I only went to two events but at both of those events I felt welcomed by everyone there and knew if I joined AOII I would be accepted by all of the members. COB gave me the opportunity to see what AOII was really like without feeling any pressure. I would definitely recommend COB to anyone who is unsure about joining a sorority.
