Why AOII?: Alexis Morris

From the first day I knew I wanted to go AOII, I wanted to go back to the Pi house more than anything every day and sit there and talk to all the sisters. I wanted to listen to them talk about their philanthropy and how much it meant to them. I wanted to listen to them talk about their love for one another.

Lucky for me, these women let me into their beautiful sisterhood and fueled the flame that is my passion for philanthropy, and the love for my sisters and what AOII stands for. But once the thrill of it was all over, Bid Day had come to a close, I sat down and I thought, did I really even give any other house a chance? But I kept with it because something was telling me I was in the right place.

Later, I got my Big and Grand-Big and who became my greatest mentors in college. Then, I became a leader in my chapter. Next, one of my best friends, Anastasia, joined our chapter. AOII has been my home everyday, and it reminds me consistently why I'll always call Alpha Omicron Pi home.
